Don’t Give Up!

It has been a frustrating week for me. I ran out of yarn before finishing up a project. As a result, it is really bugging me. I need to figure out a way around this problem. Since I only need about three feet of yarn to finish this project, I don’t want to buy a whole new skein of yarn. So, rather than add to my stash, I put this project aside and moved on to another one.

Keep Going!

On a positive note, I am DONE with Noelle’s blanket. If you read my last post, you know that I originally made this blanket for Noelle’s baby. You also know that I started another one almost immediately but put it aside because I didn’t feel it was quite as pretty as the first. And finally, you know that Noelle’s baby is now four-years-old. Allow me to do the math for you: this blanket has been sitting around, mocking me, for several years.

But now I am done with it! Even better, I have written a pattern for it because it’s really a cute blanket. It is off with my pattern tester as I type. To me, the pattern feels a bit complicated. I want to make sure it’s easy and fun to make–not frustrating.
