Checkerboard Crochet Afghan
The lovely Autumn colors of copper and cream create a Checkerboard Crochet Afghan, but you may use any color you choose to create your beautiful masterpiece. This lovely, hand-crocheted, pumpkin spice Checkerboard Crochet Afghan was designed in my studio in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The soft, washable yarns blend into a lovely, warm, reversible blanket; one side is more copper and the other is more cream. This blanket makes a wonderful housewarming, Christmas, or wedding gift. The instructions in the pattern require counting between stitches and the crocheter needs to be comfortable changing colors.
The instructions include all yarn brands, colors, and amounts needed to complete this afghan. Pattern includes the border instructions, as well. The sample blanket is 43″ x 60″ although the directions allow you to adapt this pattern to other sizes of your choosing.
