The Waffle Stitch Washcloth/dishcloth pattern
The Waffle Stitch Washcloth/dishcloth pattern makes use of front post and back post crochet stitches. It is the most complicated of the four washcloth/dishcloth patterns. The pattern gives you a taste of the waffle stitch before you commit to crocheting that waffle stitch baby afghan or full-size afghan for your family member. This intermediate level pattern is the fourth in the washcloth/dishcloth set of patterns. It is a free pattern and available for instant download. This is the most difficult of the three washcloth patterns as it makes use of both front post double crochet and back post double crochet. Once you have the pattern started it is easy to see what you need to do next. If you know the stitches then try it out. You will be surprised how easy it is once you have the first three rows completed.
